Middletown, Del., Feb.11, 2012 - Summit Aviation, a Greenwich AeroGroup Company, announced today they have signed a long term agreement with Sikorsky Global Helicopters to manufacture, assemble and test transmissions for new production Schweizer 300 C^TM aircraft and aftermarket support.

“We have had a long standing relationship with Sikorsky,” said President of Summit Aviation Bob Fitzpatrick. “For the last five years our facility has built major aero structure
sub-assemblies for the Schweizer 333^TM for them in our Somerset, Ky. location, and now we are elated to be able work with them on this exciting new project.”

Fitzpatrick added that Summit was selected by Sikorsky based on their technical knowledge of the product and competitive cost.  He also stated that Summit is a Part 145 Bell Helicopter approved transmission overhaul center.

The agreement is valued at approximately $5 million and work will be completed at Summit Aviation’s Middletown, Del., facility.

Summit Aviation, a Greenwich AeroGroup Company, was established in 1960 and has been a full service Federal Aviation Administration Certified Repair Station since
1966. Summit broke ground on its 550-acre site on June 9, 2010 for the development, which includes a 37,400 square-foot hangar, 9,200 square-foot paint facility, two cold storage units and an additional 11,400 square-feet of support and office space.

“For more than 50 years, Summit Aviation has earned a positive reputation for its service,” said Delaware Governor Jack Markell. “Both now and for decades to come, these new facilities will keep people hard at work building on that legacy.”

Summit’s parent company, Greenwich AeroGroup, has invested $12 million in capital since acquiring the facility in 2008, and Delaware’s Economic Development Office awarded Summit a performance-based grant from the Delaware Strategic Fund in the
amount of $1.36 million to help the company expand the site and add up to 188 new jobs over a three year time period.

“We were proud to support Summit Aviation’s investment in Delaware,” said DEDO Director Alan Levin. With the completion of this project, the company will hire more Delaware workers to fulfill its increased demand for aviation maintenance and service
work.”

To date, Summit Aviation has added 31 to its workforce as a result of the expansion.
