Summit Aviation Expands Operations to Kentucky |

Summit Aviation is establishing a new division of the company in Somerset, Kentucky to be called Summit Aviation – Kentucky Operations (Summit KY) at the Somerset-Pulaski County Airport. The focus of the Summit Kentucky Operation will be to establish an assembly and light manufacturing facility to produce aircraft subassemblies for certain aircraft produced by The Schweizer Aircraft Corporation (SAC), a subsidiary of Sikorsky Aircraft. |

| Summit KY will provide the labor resources to assemble detailed aircraft parts received from SAC into larger subassemblies that typically require a large number of man hours to complete. Summit KY will return the larger subassemblies to SAC for final assembly into the finished products including surveillance aircraft, helicopters, unmanned vehicles, and other products. Summit KY and SAC are contemplating other services to be provided in Kentucky to supplement both SAC and Sikorsky Aircraft manufacturing needs.
